OBJECTIVES OF THE MODULE:
In this module, you will learn -

- to describe the professions
- to describe the events (festivals)
- to listen and write/ talk descriptions of people.
We usually describe people based on their appearance, character, feeling, profession etc.,
This will help us to describe ourselves as well as describing others.

DESCRIBING PEOPLE’S APPEARANCE:
Describing a person is very useful in many situations in our day-to-day life.
We can describe people through
PHYSICAL APPEARANCES: (What does he/she look like?)
- Height and weight
- Age
- Colour of the hair and eyes
- Tone of the skin.

Some times we have to describe other people by their professions also. Let us see that.
